Forest was bred solely for profit, but was thrown out by his breeder weeks after birth due to a severe congenital defect that left him unable to run, stand, or move properly. Both his front legs are bowed and unstable, making it difficult for him to explore and experience the world around him.
Despite the breeder's lack of compassion, we took Forest in and had him evaluated by our doctors. We have started the process of stabilizing his legs through casting, in hopes that they will realign themselves before his growth plates fuse. If the casting fails, amputation may be necessary.
We are committed to giving Forest the care he needs to live a happy and fulfilling life, but we cannot do it alone. Your donation towards his ongoing medical treatment will make a world of difference in Forest's life. He deserves a chance to thrive and experience the love and kindness he has been denied.
